It was in the air: the progress made by Lonzo Ball during his recovery this summer was clearly not enough and the specter of a package for the start of the season had already arisen at the beginning of September.
The Chicago franchise confirmed fears by announcing that Lonzo Ball will undergo surgery, a arthroscopic debridement of the left knee to be more precise, an operation to remove damaged cartilage or pieces of bone from a joint.
The Bulls also announced that his case would not be reassessed for four to six weeks, making him already forfeited for the resumption of the regular season on October 19 in Miami for Chicago.
