Berlin – The German basketball champion Alba Berlin has extended the contract with Kresimir Nikic until the end of the 2024/2025 season. The 23-year-old center has been under contract with the Berliners for five years and was active for the Lok Bernau cooperation team. As Alba announced, Nikic will be loaned out to league rivals Medi Bayreuth in the Bundesliga season, which begins in mid-September.
“Kresimir is one of our young players who has continuously developed with us,” said Alba sporting director Himar Ojeda. “We are very pleased that he now has the opportunity to take the next step at Bayreuth.”
