The IES La Orden Badminton Club continues to be active during the summer period and adding new triumphs such as those achieved in the XV Edition of the Hispano-Portuguese Badminton & Parabadminton Tournament, held on July 23 and 24, 2022 in Évora, where the Huelva club has won four medals.
Adrián Acosta has been proclaimed champion of the Men’s Individual in the Absolute C category, while Claudia Carrero has been runner-up in the Women’s Individual. The duo formed by both athletes has also won the silver medal in Mixed Doubles. For their part, Alejandro Salobral and Alejandro Tanda have climbed to the top of the podium in Mixed Doubles of the Absolute C category.
The tournament, in which more than 300 domestic and foreign athletes have participated, aims to promote exchanges between athletes and badminton clubs and strengthen ties between countries. The Huelva club, which has attended this annual event for almost a decade, has also been able to enjoy the different activities aimed at promoting coexistence among the participants.
