Fan riots in Yogyakarta and at the train station, PT LIB: Don’t Let the Government Ban Spectators from the Stadium

BOLASPORT.COM – The President Director of PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB), Akhmad Hadian Lukita, gave his response regarding the riots between supporters that occurred in Yogyakarta and the Jatinegara Train Station, East Jakarta.

Akhmad Hadian Lukita said that PT LIB was currently monitoring the riots which were very detrimental to Indonesian football.

The first incident occurred at the Jatinegara Train Station when a number of Persib Bandung supporters wanted to leave for the Wibawa Mukti Stadium, Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java, Sunday (24/7/2022).

On that day, Persib Bandung played against Bhayangkara FC in the inaugural match of Liga 1 2022/2023 at Wibawa Mukti Stadium.




A number of Persib Bandung fans met with a few Persija Jakarta fans at Jatinegara Station.

The Persija Jakarta fan also wanted to watch the Kemayoran Tigers friendly match against the Thai club Chonburi FC at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Sunter, North Jakarta, Sunday (24/7/2022).

Persija Jakarta fans who can be counted on the fingers were kicked by one of the Persib Bandung fans.

After the kicking incident, Persib Bandung’s songs echoed at the Jatinegara Train Station.
