Returning to his favorite club, Alexandre Lacazette succeeded in his reunion with Lyon on Saturday in OL’s first pre-season friendly match, winning 4-2 against Bourg-Péronnas (3rd division) with a goal and an encouraging performance from international centre-forward.
Wearing the captain’s armband at the Marcel-Verchère stadium in Bourg-en-Bresse, the former Arsenal striker only played 45 minutes for this recovery, giving way to the break.
But it was enough to score a goal full of opportunism (7th) and to immediately weigh on Lyon’s attacking game, before three other goals scored by Houssem Aouar (50th), Moussa Dembélé (56th) and the young Irvyn Lomami (69th). Amine El Ouazzani scored twice at the end of the match in favor of Bourg-Péronnas (82nd, 88th).
