Party evening yesterday at the Sakura Judo Club in Arma di Taggia where the Liguria Region gave a plaque of merit to the judoka Lorenzo Rossi. For the occasion were present the regional councilor Gianni Berrino who also took the place of the colleague of sport, Simona Ferro. For the municipal administration there was no lack of deputy mayor Espedito Longobardi and councilor Laura Cane. The provincial delegate of CONI, Alessandro Zunino, also participated.
We have repeatedly talked about Lorenzo Rossi for the important results achieved at national level. The recognition by the Region comes as Rossi is the Italian champion in the Juniores Male over 100Kg category of Judo.
“This boy deserves a double applause because with great commitment and passion he dedicates himself to this discipline without neglecting university studies” – said the commissioner Berrino, referring to the results achieved by Lorenzo Rossi. Great satisfaction for this athlete also from Longobardi: “He is a golden boy who has carried the name of Taggia around the world, associating him with important sporting achievements. It is an honor for us to know that he, like the other athletes of the Sakura Club, they represent the best with great passion “.
