They went within a hair’s breadth of making a dream come true, but confirmed their very high level of play. The participation of the Pro Parma team in the MSP Padel Club Cup which took place last weekend in Pescara ended with an excellent second place. The team led by Nicola Fagetti, and made up of Giovanni Fiducia, Alessandro Biagiotti, Leonardo Incerti, Federico Ferrari, Edoardo Bufo, Marta Franze, Federica Vernizzi and Benedetta Remedi, lost only in the final for first place against Mas Padel after beating in the semifinal the hosts of Padelmania Pescara which lined up the former soccer champions Gigi Di Biagio and Christian Panucci. It was the seventh edition of the amateur national championship organized by MSP Italia which involved over 300 athletes and 14 teams that reached this national final.
