Every little bit helps: FC Barcelona sells NFT of legendary Cruijff goal for €677,000 | Remarkable

What does the buyer get for that money? A digital work of art by Johan Cruijff, completely in gold, who scored a legendary goal in 1973. The work was given the name “In a Way, Immortal”, a reference to the Dutch greatness at Barcelona.

It is well known that FC Barcelona is in need of money. So the club is looking for new ways to generate revenue. With a major social media campaign and an announcement in New York’s Times Square – where Barça are preparing – the auction was a success.

The money is very welcome in the Camp Nou. Earlier this week, the team announced the arrival of defender Jules Koundé. With that transfer, Barcelona immediately became the European team that spent the most in the summer mercato.
