Well, that’s the debut of dreams! Czech talent Adam Hložek scored a goal in the fifth minute of his debut, in the first round of the German DfB Pokal against third-tier Elversberg. At that moment he equalized at 1:1. The second Czech representative Patrik Schick was also in the starting line-up, but even he scored a goal to prevent a shameful elimination.

The Czech representative started in the starting line-up against Elversberg from the third league, who took the lead in the third minute. Less than two minutes later, the native of Ivančice made a beautiful effort from behind the goal. He couldn’t have wished for a better debut. But the Outsider subsequently took the lead again.

The third team of the last year of the Bundesliga managed to equalize thanks to the Chilean midfielder Aránguiz, but the balanced result did not last long. Elversberg took the lead for the third time in the first half, Schnellbacher scoring the difference goal.

After that, Leverkusen did not manage to equalize for a long time, even Adam Hložek was replaced in the 69th minute, and Conrad scored a goal five minutes later to make it 4:2. In the penultimate minute of regular time, Patrik Schick scored another goal, but that still did not prevent a shameful elimination. Elversberg played in the fourth league last year.
