BASKETBALL. Élodie Tessier and her teammates from the Canadian women’s wheelchair basketball team are finalizing their preparations for the Americas Cup, which will take place from July 13 to 18, in São Paulo, Brazil.

After playing friendly matches against the Netherlands and Germany in June, the Canadians are participating this week in a training camp in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. According to Canadian Wheelchair Basketball Federation High Performance Director Jeff Dunbrack, the camp will give the athletes a chance to bond as a team before heading to Brazil.
