Stéphane KOKES has just obtained the black belt in Judo – Jujitsu.

A new belt for the benefit of Budokan Chalonnais.

Judoka in his youth when he lived in Gueugnon, he had to put Judo aside for 25 years to devote himself to his sports career in Motorcycle. He resumed practice in September 2017 within the BUDOKAN CHALONNAIS. At first he practices to accompany his son Louka, and then the challenge of the black belt was always in the back of his mind. As when he rode his motorcycle, it’s not a fall that will prevent him from moving forward.

Stéphane is committed to the passage of the competition black belt. It validates the Kata and arbitration events before the Covid crisis. A year and a half later he finished his tests by winning the last points in competition before concluding in Besançon with the technical test which consists of demonstrating his judo-jujitsu know-how by demonstrating several techniques but also knowing how to respond to different situations of aggression such as grabbing and beating.

Stéphane was given the black belt last Friday by his teachers, Gabriel GUERY, Mathieu GOUTH and Adrien THOUVREY, in the presence of his club mates and his family. A friendly moment full of emotion for the BUDOKAN CHALONNAIS JUDO family.
