Mercato: Paris FC bets on Paul Lasne

After formalizing the loan signing of Mehdi Chahiri (25) from Strasbourg, as announced on our site, Paris FC could quickly register a second reinforcement in the person of Paul Lasne. Indeed, while his departure at the end of the contract was announced by Stade Brestois on Tuesday, the 33-year-old midfielder is in advanced discussions with the Parisian club, according to our information.

After three seasons in Brest and 57 games played, Paul Lasne, born in Saint-Cloud and who started out at AC Boulogne-Billancourt, has chosen to give a new direction to his career and should favor a return to the capital, even if the discussions for his signature have not yet been finalized.

His profile is in line with what Paris FC is looking for, namely an experienced player in a sector he wishes to strengthen. While waiting for Paul Lasne, 281 Ligue 1 games (14 goals), Thierry Laurey’s men resumed training on Monday and joined Deauville on Tuesday for a pre-season preparation camp which will continue until July, 1st.
