Witsel will leave BVB free of charge after four years. “It’s practically over, but we have to wait a few more days or weeks and then it will be done,” Cerezo added of the upcoming transfer.
Witsel came to BVB in 2018 from the Chinese club TJ Tianhai. At that time, the district club paid 20 million euros for the 33-year-old. Now the paths separate again.
