Yang Jiamin’s badminton women’s singles rematch was eliminated and missed the semi-finals – 8world

Chinese badminton player Yang Jiamin was knocked out in straight sets by her Thai opponent in the women’s singles rematch of the SEA Games and was unable to advance to the semifinals.

After losing the first game 12-21, Yang Jiamin won the second game and scored five points in a row. The Thai players were not to be outdone and started a fierce battle, once leveling the score to 11-11. However, Yang Jiamin lacked stamina in the second half, and the second game ended 16-21. In the end, he was eliminated by the Thai opponent in straight sets and missed the semi-finals.

In the mixed doubles rematch, Chinese husband and wife duo Xu Yongkai and Chen Weihan were also defeated by the Malaysian team in straight sets and stopped in the quarter-finals.

The Chinese women’s doubles team, Lin Zhirui and Nuer Inslia, defeated the Philippine team in straight sets in the rematch to advance to tomorrow’s semi-final.
