Boston dominates game-2 and draws the series against Miami – OA Sport

The Boston Celtics respond to the Miami Heat and take the Eastern Conference Final Game-2 with authority. A one-way match, with the green-and-whites dominating, imposing itself for 127-102, even touching the forty points advantage during the game. The series is now 1-1 and moves to Garden for two games, with Boston being able to stretch in front of their audience.

The Celtics find themselves in the quintet Marcus Smart and Al Horford and above all the first is one of the main protagonists of the victory, even touching the triple double (24 points, 12 assists and 9 rebounds). Boston’s best scorer is Jayson Tatum with 27 points, but there are also 24 Jaylen Brown points. For Miami it is a bad evening from every point of view and Jimmy Butler’s 29 points are not enough.

Yet the match had started well for Miami, ahead of ten at 18-8. From that moment, however, a sensational 60-21 run in favor of Boston opened, which between the first quarter and the whole second half completely overturned the game. Boston found themselves ahead at the interval at 70-45, already practically putting the victory on ice.

Upon returning from the locker room, the Celtics managed the advantage, also approaching +40, with the possibility of obtaining the victory with the greatest difference in their history in the playoffs. Miami had a reaction only in the garbage time, with the reserves having partially fixed the final score, but with the game now largely closed. Boston has struck a major blow and now Miami is forced to react promptly.
