The badminton section of Athlé 46 chaired by Marc Pivaudran and his dynamic team are organising, this Ascension weekend, their fifth national tournament in the gymnasium of the plain of the games, after two white years linked to Covid 19.
From Friday May 27 to Sunday May 29, around fifty players representing forty clubs from all over France will make the trip to meet in singles, doubles and mixed doubles, for a total of 280 matches, lasting 9 hours. at 19 ‘o clock.
The neighboring clubs of Sarlat, Pradines, Gourdon and Brive will be well represented, but around fifteen players from the Paris region will also come to take advantage of the Lot during this long weekend. This tournament will also be an opportunity for the young hopefuls of the Souillagais club, such as the youngest Clara or the minimal Ilan, to confront the world of adult tournaments.
Note also the last excellent results of the youngest with a title of Lot champion for Clément Sabot in chicks 1 and a place of vice-champion for Martin Daval in chicks 2. The succession therefore seems assured for this flourishing badminton section of Athlé 46!
