Man Utd: Rangnick says Ronaldo will stay

In four days, Ralf Rangnick’s speech on the future of Cristiano Ronaldo has changed a lot. While the Manchester United interim coach announced last Friday that he did not know what the Portuguese striker wanted (see here), he now says that “CR7” will not leave this summer.

“He still has a year on his contract and as far as I know he will still be here next season,” said the Mancunian coach in remarks relayed by the British press. Revelation or simple supposition? In any case, the future of Ronaldo has not finished talking in England, where many observers believe that the profile of the Lusitanian is not necessarily compatible with the tactical ideas of future coach Erik ten Hag.
