The Miles Bridges season couldn’t have ended worse. The player was ejected after a technical double during the Hornets’ debacle against Atlanta in play-in. Heading to the locker room, the forward reacted to a fan’s taunts by throwing his mouth guard at him. Which will set you back $50,000 in the form of an NBA fine.
Bridges has already shown remorse and apologized for his conduct at the subsequent press conference. Although this did not manage to reduce the sanction. The player mainly regretted having hit a girl who was behind the fan he threw the mouthpiece at. Luckily for him, the contract extension that seems about to be signed will make the fine hurt less financially, but he himself accepts that this behavior is unacceptable. “I take full responsibility” he said waiting for the punishment that has finally ended up arriving in his mailbox.
