Atlanta (USA), April 7, LETA. Latvian basketball player Kristaps Porziņģis scored 26 points in the National Basketball Association (NBA) match on Wednesday and collected 18 rebounds, but he lost to the Washington Wizards in Atlanta.
Washington’s basketball players were forced to give in to the Atlanta Hawks, who celebrated their victory over the Wizards with 118:103 (40:31, 27:34, 28:18, 23:20).
During the 32 minutes and 21 seconds spent in the basket, Porziņģis broadcast four of the eight two-point shots and four of the eight three-point shots. He also had 18 rebounds, four assists, one intercepted, two blocked throws, three errors and three personal notes, as well as a +/- score of -3.
The porcupine was the most productive in the Washington team, but Corius Kisperts and Daniel Gefords scored 12 points each.
