The 32-year-old athlete is considered by many to be one of the best free agents available this offseason.

“If we can find a way to get along, I’d be very excited,” head coach Sean McVay said on Tuesday, his remarks were reported by his organization’s Twitter account.

Wagner was released by the Seattle Seahawks before the official start of the 2022 season in early March. In 151 career games, he has totaled 1,383 tackles, including 819 solo. He also had 23.5 quarterback sacks, 11 interceptions and a safety touchdown, while causing six fumbles.

The Utah State University product has had invites to the last eight Pro Bowl games. With the Rams, he could take the place of Von Miller, who decided to continue his career with the Buffalo Bills.
