The cops are taking off again! Performance tests are on the program on Friday, followed by the first team training on Saturday. Even before that, the Bundesliga leaders and Champions League round of 16 was able to look forward to a special milestone.
Salzburg cracked the million mark on social media. In other words: The cops have a total of more than a million followers on the Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn platforms.
More than twice as many Facebook subscribers as Rapid
Salzburg has almost 464 thousand subscribers on Facebook alone, and 253 thousand on Instagram. For comparison: Rapid follow 212 thousand on Facebook, 97 thousand on Instagram. In Austria there are 140 thousand and 44 thousand, in storms 117 thousand and 55 thousand. That means: Salzburg has – at least online – the most fans of all Bundesliga clubs.
In 2021, the bulls saw a 26 percent increase in followers.
