Central defender Hrvoje Smolcic (21) from Croatia is Eintracht’s top candidate for the new season. It just depends on the fee.
“Rijeka has received an official offer, the clubs are negotiating,” explains his advisor Andy Bara (39 / source: Sportske Novosti). And further: “Hrvoje is very satisfied with the interest from such a great club like Frankfurt.”
Eintracht’s midfield clearer Kristijan Jakic (24), who came to Frankfurt from Zagreb before the season, says about his compatriot Smolcic: “Eintracht loves fighting players – he would fit very well here.”
Jakic continues: “Hrvoje is solid, strong and self-confident. He would develop even further with Eintracht. Here he would have to work on himself, under very good conditions. I would be the first to help him settle in here. But I don’t know how far the talks are. ”
