The player for example pushed a huge rant at team star Bradley Beal, for an excess of individualism, beforecoming to blows with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope… So even though he is very talented, his leaders would have made a strong decision.

If the behavior of Montrezl Harrell undoubtedly played a role in this decision to make him available, the sporting side is obviously to be taken into account. Indeed, the interior will be a free agent at the end of the season, and the Wizards do not necessarily intend to extend it. So they intend to recover assets before losing it without compensation within a few months.
And then the return of Thomas Bryant to the Wizards racket makes Montrezl Harrell slightly redundant in the squad. He is indeed younger, and he is able to produce similar statistics to those of the former Laker… The Wizards could therefore improve in other areas in exchange for Harrell. It remains to be seen whether any teams will be interested.
