In Athletics, our city will contribute three (3) athletes to the Provincial Selection: they are Karla Ribas trained by Technician Guillermo Barra and trained at the EDA School that works at Cepard and the representatives of the Road Club Santiago Guidetti and Jerema James trained by the teachers Silvina Foschi and Mariana Esper.
These three young people were selected from the two selectives that had an appointment in the town of Los Antiguos in the months of October and November.
Karla Ribas had an excellent performance in shot put where he finished 1st with a distance of 9.17 meters. Santiago Guidetti participated with a very good performance in the Hexatln where he won four (4) of the six (6) tests standing out in jump high with 1.54 meters, 110 meters with hurdles in 18.34 sec. and Bala with 9.80 mts. and Jerema James obtained his classification in his test which is the high jump with 1.57 mts., improving by 7 cm with respect to the first selective.
The athletic events as well as basketball and swimming will be based in the city of Santa Rosa while the rest of the sports will be distributed in different cities: women’s volleyball in Eduardo Castex, men’s volleyball in General Acha, women’s soccer in Macachn, soccer male in General Pico, Judo in Ataliva Roca and Cycling in Toay.
In the capital city, two of the disciplines of the 3rd Sets ParaEpade, Athletics and Swimming, while the first-time disciplines (3×3 wheelchair basketball and Boccia) will compete in General Pico.
