The first meeting of the Judo youth activity took place on Sunday 28 November, in full compliance with the federal anticovid directives. This is the first appointment under the aegis of the Italian Federation of Judo Fighting Karate and Martial Arts organized by Maestro Giacomo Bovenzi, regional manager of the Judo sector youth activity. Some companies from the provinces of Imperia and Savona have participated.
Present was the delegate of the Regional Council Nicola Gianforte, as well as the Budo Sanremo technician who attended with his breeders. Also present were Maestro Mauro Monaco of the Vallecrosia Judo Club, the athletes of the Yoshin Ryu Judo Bordighera accompanied by the Technician Daniele Eviri, the Judo Club Laigueglia and the Sharin Judo of Savona. About 60 participating athletes divided into several shifts on the tatami to avoid crowds, who competed on 250sqm of the tatami of the Biakko Tai dojo in Sanremo, under the attentive and pleased gaze of the landlord, M ° De Maria 7 ° Dan.
“It was an opportunity to get together for a peaceful training, but also an opportunity for the referees directed by Ciro Rufino and Paolo d’Amico, to be able to practice after a long absence from the world of youth competitions: in fact, there were no lack of opportunities of comparison between the athletes who have ventured into direct confrontation trials, and all awarded a medal. A timid but important attempt to give these guys a sense of their training and return to normality, in compliance with the FIJLKAM guidelines for a successful event. The day ended with the full satisfaction of the technicians present and the athletes who were able to put into practice what they have learned in their dojo in recent months “- they say.
