Přibyl’s big comeback. He should start the match after more than four years

Hockey striker Daniel Přibyl will try to return to an active career after more than four years. The 28-year-old player with national team experience should, after a long break, start today’s match of Sokolov in the first league, where he was released by the Prague Sparta in the form of so-called alternating starts.

Přibyl left for Calgary in 2016 after a season in Sparta, but did not make his mark in the NHL due to injuries. He played only 33 games on the farm in the lower AHL and returned to Europe after two years. He agreed to cooperate with the people of Prague, but repeated problems with his knee and operations did not allow him to fight.

Sokolov’s representatives have now announced on their official website that the Ostrava native will start the match of the 21st round of the first league against Frýdek-Místek.
