Former Antwerp goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand enters Guinness record

Iran goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand made his Guinness record on Thursday for the longest hand kick ever on a football field. 61.26 meters completed in 2016.

The ex-keeper of theAntwerp, today loaned to Good view in Portugal, had achieved this feat on October 11, 2016 during a qualifying match for the 2018 World Cup against South Korea. Qualified for the World Cup in Russia, Beiravand was illustrated by stopping a penalty of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Originally from the village of Arab-e-Yas, the player grew up in a nomadic family in the province of Lorestan, before coming alone at the age of 15 to Tehran to realize his dream of becoming a footballer.
