The British thoroughbred Tom Pidcock was crowned vice world champion in Dübendorf (Switzerland) 2 years ago. Only Mathieu van der Poel was too strong then.

His mentor Kurt Bogaerts confirmed to our editors that Pidcock will dive into the field for the first time on December 4, in Boom (Superprestige).
His program also includes Namur, Dendermonde, Diegem, Baal and the World Cup. “But that’s all subject to change,” says Bogaerts.
If Pidcock follows his program, he will certainly cross swords 3 times with those other 2 tough road racers. Van der Poel, Van Aert and Pidcock are normally all 3 together at the start in Dendermonde (December 26), Diegem (December 29) and Hulst (January 2).
