Rube Foster was a American baseball player who later became a manager and executive of the Black Baseball League , the first African American baseball league. It was recited la Hall of Fame del baseball In 1981.

Baseball career
Despite being good at the game, Rube Foster he encountered discrimination and racism throughout his career.
It didn’t take long before Foster signed to the Frank Leland baseball team Chicago Union Giants. After a drop in his performance, he was released and signed for Bardeen Independent Otsego.
By 1904, his baseball reputation had grown so high that many baseball teams wanted his serve. Foster chose to sign Philadelphia Giants . His success on the team saw the Philadelphia Giants return to the championship.
In 1905, he brought Philadelphia Giants in another league . His team contributed to the formation of an international championship of black and white teams.
Managerial career
In 1907, Rube Foster signed for Leland Giants come the coach and the player. During his tenure, his team won 110 games and I only lost ten games.
He was hit by a setback in 1909 after suffering a broken leg. However, he returned in a show against the Chicago Cubs that his team lost in a highly controversial game.
Foster later encountered a legal battle with Frank Leland over control of the club. The 1910 season became his best season winning a record 123 to 129 while losing only six games.
He later joined John Schorling who allowed Foster’s team to use Comiskey Park as their home ground.
Black Nation League
Rube Foster, Taylor and the owner of six baseball teams joined together to form a professional league for African American players. The three have agreed to make Foster the president of the league, while he is still the manager of his club American giants .
On many occasions, he has been accused of favoring his club in key decisions affecting the league. Many argued that his sole purpose in starting the league was to promote his club. He was also accused of poaching all the top players in the league due to his influence and financial bulk.
Death
Rube Foster suffered a mental breakdown in 1926. He never recovered since moving to Kankakee, Illinois, the December 9, 1930, at the age of 51.

In 1981, Rube Foster was admitted to la hall of fame del baseball. It is referred to by many as the father of Negro Baseball.
