Judo Day 2021 – with a difference

7 adults and 36 children between the ages of 5 and 9 followed the call.

On this day, getting to know the judo sport and of course having fun were in the foreground. And everyone really had fun! The exercises were taught according to the age groups. Whether it was a playful warm-up, the first drop exercises or the first attempts at a judo grab handle, everyone was there with joy and concentration. Great!

For the little hunger and thirst in between, bananas, apples and drinks were available. At the end the children received a certificate for their great achievements. So all participants went home with many new impressions.

The SV Urmitz team is looking forward to seeing many of the children in the next beginners course. The next course starts this month every Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Further information will follow shortly. The adults are cordially invited to come to the Peter-Häring-Halle every Friday at 7:30 p.m. and gain further experience on the mat.

A big thank you goes to the team from SV Urmitz, who carried out this beautiful event in accordance with corona, in particular the young trainers Johanna, Jannik and Julian, as well as the young athletes Lisa and Maria, who took great care of the youngsters. Uwe Schlaus, Udo Volk had taken the adults under their wing in the usual sovereign manner. As experienced trainers for the children, Francesca Bräse and Michael Scherer were also on the mat
