All ready for the passes to the Finals at the Open Vallarta

After long days, because each of the matches were very even and long in the rallies at the back of the court, it ended several times at one in the morning.

The Open Vallarta is becoming more attractive every day to be there, watching the meetings and enjoying each one of them.

The Semifinals to be played are: Michael Mmoh (USA) vs. Daniel Attmaier, from Germany; and Yosuke Watanuki of Japan vs. Alejandro Tabilo, from Chile.

In the case of doubles, the Final is between Miguel Reyes Varela and Hans Hach, from Mexico vs. Gijs Brouwer from Ned and Reese Stalder, from the United States.

Unfortunately Pablo Cuevas had to stop playing in the Quarterfinals due to an injury and thus give the pass to the Japanese Watanuki. It was a very exhausting match for both of them in the first set, where Pablo won it 6/4 and then when the Japanese were up 5/4, Cuevas suffered a pull and could no longer play the third set.

In the doubles, the Mexican couple went to the Final giving good tennis classes, with very good technique in their returns as in their volleys, and something that I liked a lot and was also winning the match, their behavior, they never boasted or bragged about winning the match and even more being local, which can lend a lot to that. The two of them always serious and very humble.

The Final will be in Parota Park at 7:00 p.m. You should not miss it or just watch it on TV on TVC Deportes.

Javier Romero is happy with the success obtained to this day due to the great event that has come out and the excellent tennis level that was seen.

We were able to talk with Santiago González, both about the organization and the issue of how he saw his teammate Gerardo López play.

About the organization, everything is positive with 10 points on the side that you want to see from the attentions of the managers as well as the state of the field.

And on the subject of how he saw Gerardo, he says that he is a good player, but if he really wants to improve his ranking a lot he will have to work a lot on his physique and in doubles he has to start playing more tournaments and apply his tactics, and Finally, he hopes that playing with him has served him as experience, since he has played many tournaments and the idea was that, to contribute something different or in a few words his knowledge.
