San Martín joined the youth Lorca

The San Martín team left last night for Córdoba, where it will face the quarterfinals of the Super 20. This phase corresponds to the playoffs of the National Basketball League tournament, in which the “red and black” cast qualified first in the Northern Conference . His duel in the direct crossing will be tomorrow afternoon against Ferro Carril Oeste (from 13:30) at the “Ángel Sandrín” stadium at Instituto.

In the prelude to a new departure to the route, the leadership of the “red and black” cast made official a new file for the LNB squad. This is Julián Lorca, an 18-year-old and 2.08-meter-tall pivot who signed his bond with the Corrientes entity for the next five seasons.

The inmate born in Villa María (Córdoba) already worked this Monday with his new colleagues, but is not part of the delegation. It will face the decisive stage of the first official tournament of the 2021/22 campaign.

Julián Lorca has a recent past in college basketball in the United States with the Schoolhouse Prep school run by former National Team coach Guillermo Vecchio. Regarding those who did travel, there is good news among some players who were in doubt in recent weeks. Matías Solanas and Maximiliano Andreatta recovered from various discomforts and will be at the disposal of coach Diego Vadell. The delegation is completed by Gastón García, Dylan Bordón, Santiago Ferreira, Franco Méndez, Emiliano Basabe, Rolando Vallejos, Fabián Ramírez Barrios, Javier Saiz, Leonardo Mainoldi and Franco Alorda.
