RFS striker Friesen Bihler disqualified for three matches in Riga derby

Kevin Friesenbihler, the striker of the Optibet Latvian Football Super League’s leading team RFS, has been disqualified for three games in the Riga derby, the Disciplinary Committee (DK) of the Latvian Football Federation (LFF) has decided.

RFS played a 1: 1 draw with the Riga team on Wednesday.

In the 73rd minute of the match, the RFS remained in the minority, because the newly replaced Friesenbihler grossly violated the rules against Vladimir Kamese.

LFF DK has decided that Friesenbihler should skip three games and pay a fine of 170 euros. Thus, the Austrian football player will be able to return to the field at the end of October, when there will be three games left until the end of the championship.

Friesenbihler has scored two goals in six games this season.

After 22 matches, the RFS is ahead of the second place winner “Valmiera” by three points, but the unit led by Viktor Moroz has one game in reserve.
