LeBron gives his cash opinion on the altercation between Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis

Beaten last night, the Lakers especially gave the impression of a nervous team when Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis almost came to blows on the bench. After the game, LeBron James himself reacted to the incident.

Still without a win on the clock this season, the Lakers took to the water against Phoenix overnight, for a defeat that hurts morale (115-105). Symbol of the very slow start of the Angelinos campaign, the confusion that broke out between Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard during the game:

LeBron James tongue-in-cheek on Davis / Howard scramble

After the game, and while the two protagonists each gave their version, LeBron James offered his take on the ESPN mic situation:

We are competitors. If some things you did on the floor don’t get angry when you think you should have done them better, then why are you here? So I like that mentality in the franchise. We love adversity. I love adversity, and I love it even more when 2 guys on the team can put the case behind them, talk about it and move on.

This is what real men do. They don’t let it drag on. You say what you have to say, you discuss it, and you move on. That’s what they did tonight.

No worries on the side of the King therefore, even if he himself recognized an overflow of nervousness among the Lakers against Phoenix.

Locker room leader LeBron understands that he will have his work cut out for it to handle such a roster of such big egos this season – and he looks up to the challenge. In the meantime, here are the images of the Lakers setback still far too accurate to claim anything against a contender:

Far from overwhelming Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard, LeBron James likes what he saw from them, and especially their maturity afterwards. A meager brightening in the eyes of the King, in an otherwise very dark evening.
