Rafael Nadal is determined and expects a difficult path to the comeback

Nadal had played his last match against South African Lloyd Harris on the ATP tour at the beginning of August and lost it, after which the clay court king withdrew from the US Open due to permanent problems with his left foot. Previously, Nadal had canceled his start at Wimbledon and the Olympic Games in Tokyo due to the chronic injury.

On Saturday, Nadal had spoken on Instagram and reported about a treatment in Barcelona.

He posted a photo showing him with crutches and a bandaged foot. Together with Roger Federer (Switzerland) and Novak Djokovic (Serbia), the 35-year-old shares the Grand Slam record of 20 titles.
