With several places available in the roster, the moves continue for the Lakers. The latter have just made a big decision on Mac McClung, which should delight a lot of fans.
Most of the free agency is over, but all the franchises are not yet complete to start the next season. Other moves are therefore expected in the coming weeks, and we find the Lakers in the lot, who have 3 places in their roster.
Veterans? At this point in the year, this is arguably the best solution. Unless obviously a surprise takes place on the side of the City of Angels, as with the sensation Mac McClung. An undrafted Texas Tech product, the guard will have a chance with the Angelinos this season! On Twitter, the franchise confirmed they signed the 22-year-old.

We were still waiting to know more about the nature of the deal, and it was Shams Charania who confirmed the news. No, this is not a contract in the final roster, but an exhibit-10, or a chance at the next training camp. McClung will earn a nice bonus if he is signed to the G-League right after, or he can be cut very easily. It will be up to him to prove himself.
What is certain, and when we review his first big game in the Summer League, is that McClung has not finished talking about him. It remains to be seen what he can do at his best, what the Lakers fully intend to find out. For fun, you can always see your clutch basket from the other day:

Mac McClung will continue his adventure with the Lakers, and will have his chance at training camp. Whatever happens, this is a first victory for the young player, who intends to prolong the pleasure as long as possible.
