Boavista FC continued the partnership signed with the Football Science Institute (FSI), valid until June 2023, in a project that has the support of Vítor Murta, president of Boavista FC, and which this Tuesday was attended by at Estádio do Bessa Séc. XXI by Fary Faye, Sporting Director of Boavista FC, Miguel Cid, responsible for Boavista LAB, and Bernardo Requena, Director of FSI.
FSI is one of the main references worldwide in terms of scientific knowledge applied to the performance of players and the sporting success of teams. FSI represents, supports and emphasizes the importance of science in sport, always looking for scientific studies applied to football.
Through this project, based, above all, on the sharing and exchange of knowledge, Boavista FC intends to continue the development and promotion of Sport Sciences, as well as the sustained growth of Boavista LAB, an essential tool for the development of athletes and which is transversal to the Club, as it ranges from the main football team, through the training levels and continuing in the most diverse modalities.
FSI works with internationally renowned federations and clubs, such as Valencia, Betis, Basel, Club América, Colo Colo or Dinamo Zagreb.
