Excitement before the MLB all-star game!
The Denver police found 16 rifles, bulletproof vests and 1,000 rounds of ammunition and drugs in a hotel just one block from Coors Field, where the baseball event is taking place on Tuesday.
An employee at the “Maven” hotel is said to have given the decisive tip.
Two rooms were searched by the police and two vehicles were confiscated. And three men and one woman were arrested!
The arrested persons were named by the police: Richard Platt (42), Gabriel Rodriguez (48), Ricardo Rodriguez (44) and Kanoelehua Serikawa (43). With the exception of the last-named woman, all of them are known to the police and have previous convictions.

According to information from CNN subsidiary KMGH, the local police are said to have feared a “Las Vegas-like shootout”.
In 2017, a 64-year-old man from a hotel murdered 60 people at a festival in Las Vegas.
The suspicion was apparently based on the fact that a large area in front of the stadium can be seen from a balcony of the hotel. An arrested person is said to have announced something “big” on Facebook.
However, the FBI emphasizes in an official statement: “We have no reason to believe that this incident was related to terrorism or any threat against the All-Star Game. We are currently not aware of any threats to the All Star Game events, venues, players or the community. “
Mayor Michael Hancock, Public Safety Director Murphy Robinson, and Police Chief Paul Pazen stressed at a press conference on Sunday afternoon that there were no ongoing threats to the stadium. But you would not rule out that the four suspects may have planned mass violence.
