Qualifiers When will the Colombian National Team play again? CONMEBOL calendar with triple dates | Colombia selection

The Colombia National Team breathed again in the South American Qualifiers to Qatar 2022. After the crisis that generated the defeats against Uruguay and Ecuador, which caused the departure of Carlos Queiroz, Reinaldo Rueda arrived and added 4 points that left the Tricolor among the five best in the standings.

With the positivism that Rueda generated in his debut, the fans wonder when and against which rivals the Colombian National Team will play again in the Qualifiers.

It should be remembered that last March the 5th and 6th days of the qualifiers had to be played, but due to the pandemic they were suspended. Thus, in June the Qualifiers were resumed with the seventh and eighth dates. Now, Conmebol is studying how to comply with the calendar and get in tune with the pending matches.

Although there is still no approval from Fifa, Conmebol prepares a calendar with triple dates in September and October, although management will have to be done with the clubs to present the players for a longer period of days.

If confirmed, Colombia would play two away games and one at home in September; for October, it would be two home games and one outing.

This would be the calendar of Colombia:

September 2021

– Thursday 2: Bolivia vs. Colombia (La Paz)
– Monday 6: Paraguay vs. Colombia (Asuncion)
– Friday 10: Colombia vs. Chile (Barranquilla)

October 2021

– Thursday 7: Uruguay vs. Colombia (Montevideo)
– Monday 11: Colombia vs. Brazil (Barranquilla)
– Friday 15: Colombia vs. Ecuador (Barranquilla)
