Cuba adds 6 tickets for Olympic judo

The delegation that will represent Cuba in the Tokyo Olympic Games added 6 judokas that officially achieved their qualifying place when the International Judo Federation updated the ranking in each of its divisions after the World Championship held in Budapest, Hungary.

Magdiel Estrada (73 kg), Iván Silva (90 kg) and Andy Granda (+100 kg) will be traveling to the Japanese capital in the men’s sector; meanwhile, Maylin del Toro (63 kg), Kaliema Antomarchi (78 kg) and Idalys Ortiz (+78 kg) got the quota for women.

In the group of Cuban judokas, Ortiz (with 7,488 points) and Silva (5,185) were the ones with the highest number of points accumulated in their respective divisions, reported Cuban newspaper.
