Chelsea won the Champions League after beating Manchester City in the final. N’Golo Kante became the star of victory, kept on being raised during the championship celebrations.
Chelsea beat Manchester City 1-0 in the Champions League final which took place at Do Dragao, Sunday (30/5/2021). The Blues’ puppet goal was scored by Kai Havertz in the final minutes of the first half, to be precise in the 42nd minute.
The two teams played quite closely and were disciplined. After winning, Chelsea played more deeply and relied on counter-attacks. Manchester City were unable to reply to a goal until the match was complete.
Man of The Match in the Champions League final, again N’Golo Kante. Previously in the two semi-final matches against Real Madrid, Kante also won the title.
Kante played the full game and kept Chelsea’s midfield well from Manchester City’s attack. Kante really made Pep Guardiola’s troops helpless.

Squawka noted, N’Golo Kante won 11 battles for the ball, 10 times successful ball recoveries, twice successfully cut passes, and three successful tackles. One of his successful tackles was so crucial, early in the first half when Kevin De Bruyne had room to stab into the Chelsea penalty box.
In fact, Kante also threatened Manchester City’s defense. In the first half, he had a golden opportunity when he gore Chilwell’s bait ball, unfortunately it was still wide.
After the final whistle, the Chelsea players were so happy with N’Golo Kante. Kurt Zouma, Antonio Rudiger, Olivier Giroud, until goalkeeper Edouard Mendy picked up and picked Kante.
