Champions League final: ‘Kill me’, but … finally a final without a defensive midfielder!

El football was a precious thing … until the defensive midfielder arrived -Sorry the current greats of that position, like ‘Casemito’ or others-. Football is so beautiful that it is exciting that they shoot me for this column, written, obviously, after knowing the final result, with Lillo’s ‘CityPep’ losing after starting – not finishing – the game without a pure defensive midfielder.

Football goes a long way, and today criticism will fall on Pep for many pending rematches – be careful, I don’t agree with everything he does or says. For this reason, to go against the result, I love to vindicate the courage of the coach ‘cityzen’ in starting a Champions League final without a defensive midfielder.

Gndogan and Bernardo Silva. They do not like it? Well, I loved (the proposal). The City lost, but not precisely because of that. In fact, what ‘killed’ him was the lack of creation in the face of the exalted approach – once again – of Tuchel. Congratulations, Parisians!

I love that They ‘killed’ me for defending an ancient football which is no longer ‘sustained’ in the modern -according to many-, but which continues to be ideological support for those of us who love the ball to continue with it.
