Rahm, four strokes from English

The American Harris English signed a card of 67 strokes (-6) at the completion of the second round of the Sentry Tournament of Champions tournament, of the PGA Tour, and added 132 impacts (-14), which allowed him to continue to lead the classification with two strokes advantage.

His compatriot Justin Thomas, who defends the title of champion, and shared the lead of the first day, finished second along with three other American golfers, Ryan Palmer, Collin Morikawa and Daniel Berger, who added 134 strokes.

Morikawa and Berger also achieved the best record of the day by delivering two cards with 65 strokes (-8). Berger was perfect with eight birdies, while Morikawa reached nine birdies, but bogey, on the twelfth hole of par 4 that prevented him from finishing perfect.

But he confirmed that he arrives at the weekend with all the options of being able to fight for the title, as Niemann and Ortiz did.

Niemann, 22, also improved from the first round, needing two fewer strokes, signed a card of 67 (-6) with eight birdies, including a spectacular streak of five in a row between the fourth and eighth holes.

His two birdies came early in the game, on the first hole and on the fifteenth.

Ortiz had the same record as Niemann (67, -6) with seven birdies, including two runs of two in a row, and the bogey on the 4th par on the seventh hole that cost him to finish a perfect round.

The Spanish Sergio García could not maintain the inspiration of the first round, having problems with long strokes, and in the end he concluded the tour with a record of 71 strokes (-2) that gave him the sum of 138 (-8) for move to twenty-second after losing 19.

García did not start the day well when he had a bogey and although he made a series of two birdies in a row (holes 4 and 5), then he again had a bogey in the sixth and the double bogey in the eighth that was the one that did him the most damage.

The veteran Spanish player would conclude the tour with six birdies, which keeps him in the fight for the title.

Colombian Sebastián Muñoz improved in relation to the first round and made a great record of 66 strokes (-7) to add 141 (-5) that helped him recover eight places to leave the last of the classification and share 34 together to four other players.

Among them the Mexican Abraham Ancer who kept his game discreet with a signed card of 71 strokes (-2) after making four birdies and two bogeys.
