Another Latvian basketball player Dāvis Bertāns and Anžeja Pasečņiks have been transferred to the Washington “Wizards” game in the National Basketball Association (NBA) championship, the club reports.

On Friday, the Wizards were supposed to play an away match against the Detroit Pistons, but the league leadership postponed the match because the contacts of Covid-19 infected players are being tracked.
Previously, the Wizards could not play a game against the Utah Jazz because the club could not apply for at least eight players to the match, following all safety protocols.
The Wizards rank 13th in the Eastern Conference with three wins in 11 games.
