Thomas Müller approaches ARD reporter
Thomas Müller moves to reporter Valeska Homburg after his frustration interview on ARD after the cup embarrassment with Bayern Munich near Holstein Kiel. He also congratulates the second division team on their victory, which was previously lost in the rush of emotions.
After a tense exchange of words during the TV interview after the embarrassing cup exit, Bayern star Thomas Müller set up conciliatory tones that night. “Phew – the last minute shock is still in our limbs. Nevertheless, congratulations at this point to @holsteinkiel on getting ahead, that was a little under all the frustration in the interview earlier,” wrote the 31-year-old on social media and turned then also to the ARD reporter Valeska Homburg, who had conducted the interview that was gladly clicked on the Internet.
“@homburg_valeska, we could both have done that a little better – no offense,” he finally posted conciliatory. In addition, Müller expressed his mood with the hashtags “# Losmussmankönnen”, “# istaberhauptnichtmeins” and “# undauchnixzumgewhnen”.
After the surprising end on penalties in the 2nd round at second division Holstein Kiel, the pissed off Müller did not like the question of the mood in the cabin at all. “You are laughing here now,” he said to the ARD reporter. To which Homburg replied: “No, I’m not laughing.” Müller didn’t give up and said: “Of course you laughed!”
The interview only continued after one more question from the reporter. The mood was appropriate, said Müller. “We are of course served.” The conversation had already ended in a conciliatory manner on TV. Homburg had thanked for coming out and wished a nice evening, Müller had commented on this with “Thank you very much”.
