Big concern about Russell Westbrook?

Already absent for the Wizards, Russell Westbrook is still in the infirmary for a few days. Well, that was the starting plan. In reality, the medical staff are quite worried about the leader.

After a failed year with the Rockets, Russell Westbrook quickly realized that the Texan experience would not work. He therefore asked for his trade in order to find a team where he could be the leader. For the Wizards, it was the perfect opportunity to turn the page John Wall. But after a few weeks, Washington is not doing well.

Despite the recent victory, Scott Brooks’ men have a poor record of 3 wins for 8 losses. Westbrook is partly responsible, he who connects bad shooting decisions and questionable defensive sequences. Even worse ? He is wounded.

The information fell a few days ago: Westbrook is suffering from a quadriceps injury. The same physical glitch that had bothered him during his last season with Houston. The problem is that he drags this from the training camp, which may partly explain its level. However, recent news suggests the worst.

The Wizards fear Russell Westbrook has suffered a “major setback” to his quadriceps.

Initially, Russ was to be away for a short week, depending on his response to medical treatment. Not only does healing seem complicated, Westbrook may well be spending a lot more time in the infirmary.

A quadriceps injury is always complicated to heal, even more so in the case of Westbrook, who is already in his thirties. The Wizards will therefore take no risk with him, even if it means leaving him for several weeks away from the courts.

Already in poor shape, Russell Westbrook is also experiencing injuries for his first weeks with the Wizards. Clearly, luck is not with the leader.
