‘Peter Maes will be the new coach of STVV’ – Voetbalnieuws

STVV has put down a bad series and as a result the tail teams have come closer and closer to the Canaries. That had its consequences for the coach. Now they are looking for a new trainer.

UPDATE: Het Laatste Nieuws now makes it clear that STVV’s choice would indeed have fallen on … Peter Maes. He can hope for a new team in professional football after stints at Lokeren and Lommel, among others.

Sporza also confirmed the news. Maes will be presented on Monday and will sign a contract for 2.5 seasons.

After the dismissal of Muscat, STVV turned to Bernd Hollerbach, but no agreement was (yet) found with him.

And so they look further for a new trainer at the Canaries on Stayen. In addition, the name of Wouter Vrancken was mentioned, you know The last news. Vrancken is a Truienaar, but of course still active at KV Mechelen at the moment.

Taking him away from Malinwa is not easy anyway, given the lump sum payment. Neither club nor trainer heard anything from the Canaries. At Het Nieuwsblad they stuck to Peter Maes as a possible new coach at STVV.
