LThe 65-year-old Australian first posted a video on Instagram on Thursday evening in which he said he was experiencing symptoms related to the coronavirus. The next day, he posted photos in which he was seen in a hospital bed.
“That sums it all up,” Norman wrote. “My Christmas day.”
Greg Norman Jr. announced that he and his wife Michelle had tested positive.
The Normans competed in the PNC Father-Son Golf Championship last weekend in Orlando, Florida.
The father said Thursday he was experiencing flu-like symptoms, including a mild fever, cough, pain and a mild headache. He added that he had undergone a screening test on Tuesday, the result of which was negative, but that he had nevertheless placed himself in voluntary isolation.
It appears he was hospitalized on Friday. He notably posted a photo of him in a hospital bed and another of a medical professional wearing head-to-toe personal protective equipment.
Norman Sr. concludes by wishing to get out of his forties and that he can not wait to build as bright a future as possible in 2021 and beyond. Par The Associated Press
