Dallas Cowboys’ points with and without Dak Prescott in the 2020 NFL season

They knew it was not going to be easy, but they had hope and above all because they are in The lowest performing division (NFL East) in the NFL. The 2020 Postseason seems to be on the run from some Dallas Cowboys that have scary numbers after the injury of Dak Prescott.

The Cowboys’ starting quarterback suffered an injury in the game of Week 5 against New York Giants that took him out of the rest of the season and from then on the points scored by the Dallas offense had a notable decline that keeps the Cowboys out of the postseason.

The Cowboys were losing, Prescott’s fault. The Cowboys are bad, Prescott’s fault. Cowboys play poorly, again Prescott’s fault: those were the usual criticisms of the common denominator of Dallas fans, but They were right? The numbers say no!

With Dak Prescott under control of the offense, the Cowboys scored a total of 150 points which were divided into: 17 a Los Angeles Rams, 40 a Atlanta Falcons, 31 a Seattle Seahawks, 38 a Cleveland Browns and 24 New York Giants until the QB retired injured. Since then, the season for Dallas has been in the doldrums.

Cowboys numbers without Dak Prescott

Since Dak Prescott stopped leading the offense the Dallas Cowboys have only scored a total of 35 points in four games which were distributed as follows: 13 units against the Giants (since Prescott left), 10 to Arizona Cardinals, 3 a Washington Football Team and 9 a Philadelphia Eagles. Before they hated it and today they miss it: the reality of the Cowboys.
