Basile Boli gave his opinion on the possible arrival of Mourad Boudjellal as president of Olympique de Marseille.
In a message posted on his account Twitter, the former defender of the Marseille club openly criticized the last statements of the former president of the RC Toulon rugby club, supported in his project of recovery by a fund from the Middle East.
“Mr Boudjellal. I have just read and listened to your statements concerning OM. I just wanted to tell you to respect this club and this city. From Benbarek, Zatelli, Skoblar, Papin, Di Meco, Deschamps, Mandanda and Pape, we have a story. You can block the port of Marseille with the money of others but at least, sportingly, respect these people who have lived and who live to the sound and air of this club“, said the 53-year-old.
Pending the outcome of the case, the businessman was inducted president of SC Toulon, a formation relegated to National 2 at the end of the 2019-2020 season.
